Christina Aguilera To Appear On CSI: NY

That’s right ladies and gents, our girl Christina Aguilera is appearing on the CBS hit CSI: NY in February of 2007. The episode she’s in will feature a storyline about battered women, which of course is close to her heart as she grew up in a home that dealt with domestic violence (see I’m Ok and Oh Mother).

CSI Executive Producer Anthony Zuiker tells TV Guide magazine, “Christina’s a fan of the show, and we’re excited to have her. The episode will probably explore the topic of battered women.”

Christina is not expected to play herself and her music will be featured in the episode (cough Oh Mother cough).

We can’t wait to see how Christina does in the episode–her hosting stint on SNL showed us the girl had some serious raw acting chops. Hopefully with a little direction she can pull out a good performance.
