Shia LaBeouf Among Top 25 Entertainers of the Year

Posted under Celebrities, Shia LaBeouf, Television by Chris Evans on Tuesday 27 November 2007 at 11:43 am

My baby daddy (if that were anatomically possible) Shia LaBeouf is one of the Top 25 Entertainers of 2007 according to Entertainment Weekly–along with actors George Clooney, Johnny Depp, Matt Damon, Vanessa Williams–singers Rihanna and Carrie Underwood, Amy Winehouse–writer J.K. Rowling and more.

Here’s an excerpt from his interview:

The best part about being so successful at such a young age is…
”I get to meet my heroes. To be in that Indiana Jones clique is insane. These are my superheroes. These are my Batmans, my Robins. And I get to eat lunch with them.”

The biggest challenge… ”All of a sudden, everyone wants to be your pal. I think the hardest thing is deciphering reality from the success, and knowing when to shut down the success of your occupation to be able to enjoy the mundane, everyday life s—. And you get tired of talking about the same things. I’m tired of talking about myself.”

He knew he’d finally made it when… ”That struggle doesn’t end. I don’t think that ever goes away.I think when that goes away, your career’s over. Success only means more pressure: How is your next film going to differ from your last? If you’re not progressing, you’re dying.”

Favorite career moment of the year… ”I think my favorite moment was when Harrison flew in and jumped out of his helicopter to come to rehearsal with his whip in his hand. He wasn’t in Indiana Jones gear. It was just Harrison Ford with his whip, walking to rehearsal.”

Shia! Shia! Shia!

Posted under Celebrities, Shia LaBeouf by Chris Evans on Thursday 1 November 2007 at 11:18 am

On the heels of talks about Transformers 2 and the release of the new Indiana Jones movie, Shia LaBeouf is apparently single and ready to mingle.

Someone who spotted him at a club recently said:

“Tons of girls were coming up to his table and introducing themselves, and Shia seemed to love getting recognized,” the witness added. “He was in a really good mood and was really nice to everybody who approached him.”

Still no idea as to whether the Rihanna rumors were true, but for his sake I hope they weren’t. He’s too hot and talented to be dating someone with a forehead the size of an 18 wheeler.

More Shia pics after the jump. (more…)

Fresh Links: Early Pics From Sex and the City Movie

Posted under Desperate Housewives, Jennifer Aniston, Marcia Cross, Movies, Rachel McAdams, Sex and the City, Shia LaBeouf, Television by Chris Evans on Wednesday 26 September 2007 at 11:15 am

The ladies of Sex and the City are back in Manhattan and back in the habit, and PopSugar has some early pictures that have surfaces from the shotting of the movie. Jennifer Hudson is also in the movie–playing Carrie’s new assistant. Hope it turns out good!

F/X has ordered another pilot from Nip/Tuck creator and screenwriter of Running With Scissors, Ryan Murphy, called Queen B. It’s a workplace drama, and apparently a number of top actresses over 40 have shown interest.

Paramount has set a June 2009 release date for the sequel to the massive hit Transformers, starring one of my favorite leading men, Shia LaBeouf. It’s unclear who will return for the sequel, but no Shia, no care.

Bill O’Reilly makes stupid comments about being surprised black people can act like civilized human beings. And what do you know? People are upset. He and Ann Coulter need to just get in the sack and make it official.

The lovely Miss Marcia Cross was spotted with her husband and her babies out shopping recently, and also talked about how she pretty much lives in her Desperate Housewives trailer.

For the first time Oscar winner Helen Hunt has directed a feature film, and naturally casted herself in the lead role. The film is called Then She Found Me, and it recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Jennifer Aniston and Aaron Eckhart are starring together in a new movie called Traveling in which Eckhart plays a widower who writes a book about his grief and becomes a self-help guru–when Aniston enters his life and reminds him of the past.

Rachel McAdams is starring alongside Oscar winner Helen Mirren, Robin Wright Penn, Brad Pitt, and Edward Norton in a feature film adaptation of a BBC miniseries called State of Play.

Fresh Links: Transformers Shatters Records!

Posted under Ben Affleck, Celebrities, Christina Aguilera, Matt Damon, Movies, Ryan Gosling, Sandra Bullock, Shia LaBeouf by Chris Evans on Thursday 5 July 2007 at 10:53 am

Shia LaBeouf and Josh Duhamel brought their hotness to Transformers and apparently it worked because the fourth of July box office was busted up with the millions of people who went to see the film–shattering all the previous July 4th records. Go Shia!

The Sex and the City movie is finally a-go, even though I could swear I’ve heard that same thing ten million times over since the show ended. Hopefully egos don’t collide and Sarah Jessica keeps that nose in check.

Jim Carrey’s gearing up for his next role as a sober man falling off the wagon in a Universal Pictures film called Sober Buddies. I trusted him on Fun With Dick and Jane and ended up getting burned. Shall I try again?

Sandra Bullock and Alias hottie Bradley Cooper are starring in a new romantic comedy called All About Steve–Oscar nominee Thomas Haden Church is apparently in talks for a supporting role.

I’m sure by now you all have heard about those naughty pictures of Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo while on their steamy vacation, including raunchy pics of the two of them in the hot tub. Here’s a rare uncensored pic of Nick’s booty.

Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling has been attached to Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones, alongside Oscar winner Rachel Weisz. The movie is centered on a woman who is murdered, but continues to watch over her family after her death.

Anyone remember that movie Good Will Hunting that won Ben Affleck and Matt Damon Oscars years ago? Well apparently they’re not working on another screenplay together–ten years later. Here’s to hoping they can recapture the magic.

Christina Aguilera’s estranged father has popped up out of nowhere to “confirm” her pregnancy. For those of you not familiar, Aguilera’s father abused her and her mother when she was young, and she has been out of contact with him for years. Seems like he once again is trying to get back in her good graces. Doubt this was the best plan of action.
