Here’s some candid photos of Sandra Bullock on the set of her new movie All About Steve with hottie Bradley Cooper.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen a damn good romantic comedy. I miss you, Julia Roberts!

Sandra Bullock & Julia Roberts Among OK Magazine’s Richest Women

Posted under Celebrities, Christina Aguilera, Halle Berry, Julia Roberts, Madonna, Nicole Kidman, Oprah Winfrey, Sandra Bullock by Chris Evans on Thursday 19 July 2007 at 8:58 pm

Premonition may have sucked and bombed, and Perfect Stranger may have been as embarrassingly bad as its gross at the box office, but I suppose Sandra Bullock and Halle Berry are still doing pretty well for themselves financially.

SANDRA BULLOCK, MADONNA, JULIA ROBERTS and NICOLE KIDMAN have made it into the top five of a new list of rich celebrities. The quartet was beaten only by Oprah Winfrey in the OK! magazine Top 10 Female Breadwinners countdown - she topped the list with a $1.5 billion net worth. The publication’s top 10 also featured Christina Aguilera, Halle Berry and Jessica Alba, the youngest star on the list.

Glad to see my girl Christina on the list, and of course the Queen Oprah. Can anyone remember the last time Nicole Kidman even released a movie? And how the hell is Jessica Alba’s no talent ass on the list?

Sandra Bullock Doesn’t Care If Her Movies Flop

Posted under Celebrities, Movies, Sandra Bullock by Chris Evans on Wednesday 18 July 2007 at 3:08 pm

Recently Sandra Bullock said

Actress Sandra Bullock can afford to be selective about her movie roles - because she doesn’t need the cash. The Crash star would consider reading the scripts of less lucrative movie parts, because she has no fear of them being unsuccessful.

She says, “I can now choose the roles that I want to do rather than ones that I think will make money. I know I’m very lucky to be in this position and, as long as I have people around me to tell me I’m not about to go broke, I’m happy to do any movie that barely breaks even.”

Now see, Sandra gerl, I love you. I’ve loved you since I saw Speed and The Net back when I a little tickle in my mommy’s pappysack. But this pisses me off.

I’m very selective about what movies I go see, and I’m very good at being able to tell what I’ll like based on the previews and who’s in it. Which is why I was in shock when a friend and I went to see her most recent movie Premonition and it was the worst piece of shit I’ve seen in my life.

I thought: It’s Sandra Bullock and Julian McMahon…it’s an interesting concept…should be good. Wrong. The movie made no sense, the writing was horrible, and they never even offered an explanation for why she was having these “premonitions”. Just because you’re rich and don’t have to worry about how you’re gonna pay for your bras and panties, Sandra, doesn’t mean I want to see crap movies! Get it together!

Fresh Links: Transformers Shatters Records!

Posted under Ben Affleck, Celebrities, Christina Aguilera, Matt Damon, Movies, Ryan Gosling, Sandra Bullock, Shia LaBeouf by Chris Evans on Thursday 5 July 2007 at 10:53 am

Shia LaBeouf and Josh Duhamel brought their hotness to Transformers and apparently it worked because the fourth of July box office was busted up with the millions of people who went to see the film–shattering all the previous July 4th records. Go Shia!

The Sex and the City movie is finally a-go, even though I could swear I’ve heard that same thing ten million times over since the show ended. Hopefully egos don’t collide and Sarah Jessica keeps that nose in check.

Jim Carrey’s gearing up for his next role as a sober man falling off the wagon in a Universal Pictures film called Sober Buddies. I trusted him on Fun With Dick and Jane and ended up getting burned. Shall I try again?

Sandra Bullock and Alias hottie Bradley Cooper are starring in a new romantic comedy called All About Steve–Oscar nominee Thomas Haden Church is apparently in talks for a supporting role.

I’m sure by now you all have heard about those naughty pictures of Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo while on their steamy vacation, including raunchy pics of the two of them in the hot tub. Here’s a rare uncensored pic of Nick’s booty.

Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling has been attached to Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones, alongside Oscar winner Rachel Weisz. The movie is centered on a woman who is murdered, but continues to watch over her family after her death.

Anyone remember that movie Good Will Hunting that won Ben Affleck and Matt Damon Oscars years ago? Well apparently they’re not working on another screenplay together–ten years later. Here’s to hoping they can recapture the magic.

Christina Aguilera’s estranged father has popped up out of nowhere to “confirm” her pregnancy. For those of you not familiar, Aguilera’s father abused her and her mother when she was young, and she has been out of contact with him for years. Seems like he once again is trying to get back in her good graces. Doubt this was the best plan of action.

Fresh Links: Marcia Cross’ Twins Revealed

Posted under Celebrities, Desperate Housewives, Gay, Marcia Cross, Movies, Ryan Carnes, Sandra Bullock by Chris Evans on Monday 16 April 2007 at 8:16 pm

The lovely and beautiful Marcia Cross just revealed her two new twins in the most recent issue of People magazine. I’m not a fan of babies, especially newborns, but I love me some Marcia. Sources say she’s coming back to Wisteria Lane for the finale!

Speaking of Desperate Housewives, remember Ryan Carnes, the guy that played Andrew’s boyfriend Justin? He said some interesting things about playing a gay role, and the challenges he and Shawn Pyfrom faced being such young actors.

Sandra Bullock is returning to her romantic comedy roots in a new film called All About Steve. She plays a crossword constructor who falls for a CNN camera man. After Premonition, this movie better be damn good to make up for that mess.

NBC has gotten the ball rolling early and has announced their summer lineup. The shows include familiar favorites like America’s Got Talent, Last Comic Standing, and The Biggest Loser, as well as a newcomer called Age of Love. What the hell happened to scripted television?

There’s a really hot new 2007 ad campaign for Armani Exchange, and the creative director has given an exclusive look at the delicious ads to one of my favorite blogs Towleroad. Take a look, grab the lotion and tissues first.

Julia Roberts’ niece Emma Roberts, whom you might notice from Nickelodeon’s Unfabulous is starring in a movie adaptation of the Nancy Drew series, which hits theaters June 15, and apparently they’re so happy with what they have, they’re already working on a sequel.

The handsome and talented Shia LaBeouf has been pegged to star in the upcoming Indiana Jones sequel. In addition, his movie Disturbia, which we highly recommend, opened at number 1 this weekend at the box office with 23 million dollars.

Sandra Bullock & Julian McMahon in Premonition

Posted under Julian McMahon, Movies, Sandra Bullock, Trailers by Chris Evans on Wednesday 1 November 2006 at 9:16 pm

The trailer has just recently been released for Sandra Bullock’s new movie with Nip/Tuck star Julian McMahon called Premonition. Honestly..all you have to say to me is Sandra Bullock and Julian McMahon and I’m there. Throw in Nia Long, a mysterious plot and some suspense and my ass is already in line to buy a ticket.

Unfortunately…the movie doesn’t come out until March 2007. Ew.

Sandra Bullock and Catherine Zeta-Jones Glam It Up On The Red Carpet

Posted under Catherine Zeta-Jones, Celebrities, Sandra Bullock by Chris Evans on Tuesday 31 October 2006 at 12:09 pm

Two of the most gorgeous and classy actresses (also two of my favorite) Catherine Zeta-Jones and Sandra Bullock looking nearly perfect as always.

Definitely a step up from that unfortunate puffy number Sandra sported last week that had her looking like a cast member from Aladdin.

Fresh Links: Hugh Jackman Says Wolverine Script Is Finished

Posted under American Idol, Celebrities, Gay, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Aniston, Johnny Depp, Julia Roberts, Lost, Movies, Nip/Tuck, Sandra Bullock, Television by Chris Evans on Thursday 19 October 2006 at 7:59 pm

Hugh Jackman says the script for the Wolverine prequel is finally finished.

Nip/Tuck creator and director of Running With Scissors Ryan Murphy is adapting and directing a film called “Eat, Pray, Love” that Julia Roberts will star in.

NBC better get their asses back to the drawing board because their Fall sitcoms are crashing and burning. Hmm..could explain why they just fired 700 employees.

A new Sandra Bullock comedy is being developed called All About Steve where she plays a brilliant crossword puzzler that stalks a TV news camera man.

Talledega Nights star Sacha Baron Cohen is set to star alongside Johnny Depp in the screen adaptation of Sweeney Todd.

The season finale of Flavor of Love gave VH1 its highest ratings in the history of the network. It’s a sad day when VH1’s programming kicks MTV’s ass.

CBS’ crime show Criminal Minds takes down ABC drama “Lost” for the first time.

Jennifer Aniston’s eyeing to star in a new dramedy written by the screenwriter of Hollywoodland.

American Idol season one contestant RJ Helton just recently came out of the closet. I kind of knew he was gay back when he was on American Idol, but I was also in love with him so I thought maybe it was just wishful thinking. Now I know my gaydar really is the shit. He was my fave before I heard Kelly Clarkson sing “Respect.”
