Sandra Bullock & Julia Roberts Among OK Magazine’s Richest Women

Posted under Celebrities, Christina Aguilera, Halle Berry, Julia Roberts, Madonna, Nicole Kidman, Oprah Winfrey, Sandra Bullock by Chris Evans on Thursday 19 July 2007 at 8:58 pm

Premonition may have sucked and bombed, and Perfect Stranger may have been as embarrassingly bad as its gross at the box office, but I suppose Sandra Bullock and Halle Berry are still doing pretty well for themselves financially.

SANDRA BULLOCK, MADONNA, JULIA ROBERTS and NICOLE KIDMAN have made it into the top five of a new list of rich celebrities. The quartet was beaten only by Oprah Winfrey in the OK! magazine Top 10 Female Breadwinners countdown - she topped the list with a $1.5 billion net worth. The publication’s top 10 also featured Christina Aguilera, Halle Berry and Jessica Alba, the youngest star on the list.

Glad to see my girl Christina on the list, and of course the Queen Oprah. Can anyone remember the last time Nicole Kidman even released a movie? And how the hell is Jessica Alba’s no talent ass on the list?

Fresh Links: Anne Hathaway & Steve Carrell In Get Smart

Posted under Anne Hathaway, Britney Spears, Celebrities, Heath Ledger, Jamie Foxx, Movies, Nicole Kidman, Steve Carrell, Television by Chris Evans on Monday 27 November 2006 at 12:12 am

Our girl Anne Hathaway is joining Steve Carrell in Get Smart. I can’t wait! Love this bitch.

Jamie Foxx physically threatens Kramer from Seinfeld. Wtf, man. Go polish your Oscar.

Nicole Kidman is looking a hot mess on December’s Vogue. Clean it up, honey.

Yes! Finally…the Sex and the City movie is coming to fruition. Go Kim Cattrall.

Heath Ledger
talks about his new role as the The Joker in the Batman Begins sequel.

The Hostel sequel pics are out, but I refuse to see it w/o Jay Hernandez.

Apparently Britney Spears was not amused by the AMA K-Fed skit.

Fresh Links: Nicole Kidman To Guest Star On Nip/Tuck

Oscar winner Nicole Kidman is starring in an upcoming episode of hit drama Nip/Tuck. Apparently she personally went to Ryan Murhpy and asked him to give her a role where she could wear a bunch of scary prosthetics. The Hours, anyone?

The sequel to the Jim Carrey hit “Bruce Almighty”, “Evan Almighty”, starring Steve Carrell and Lauren Graham is making headlines for it’s ridiculous budget of 250 million dollars. It is the highest budget ever for a comedy.

Our beloved Desperate Housewives takes yet another dip in the ratings despite the hottness of both Jesse Metcalfe and newcomer Josh Henderson.

Contrary to the rumors, Jake Gyllenhaal will not be reuniting with his Brokeback Mountain co-star Heath Ledger in the Batman Begins sequel.

Halle Berry is starring in a new movie called “Class Act” where she’ll play a teacher who takes up a challenge by her students to run for Congress. Hopefully this’ll suck less than…oh, anything else she’s ever done?

Diane Sawyer’s interview with bigot Mel Gibson is set to air tomorrow, and it seems completely pointless for anyone to watch. It’ll be an hour of damage control by a liar and a fraud. Go see his new movie Apocalypto, though! (Note the sarcasm).

Jackman Replaces Crowe In Luhrmann Film

Posted under Celebrities, Hugh Jackman, Movies, Nicole Kidman by Chris Evans on Wednesday 7 June 2006 at 12:32 pm

Actor Hugh Jackman has stolen fellow Australian Russell Crowe lead role in Baz Luhrmann’s new film epic, after the Gladiator star was reportedly dumped by the director.

The X-Men star wowed the Moulin Rouge! film-maker and he will now play Nicole Kidman’s lover, instead of Crowe, in a movie set around the Japanese bombing of Darwin, Australia, in 1942.

Luhrmann tells Hollywood reporter: “He just continues to astound in terms of his range, whether it’s Boy From Oz or Wolverine. “He’s always been a leading man, but he is moving toward being an iconic leading man, which is perfect for the story we’re doing.”

Posted under Academy Awards, Awards, Celebrities, Hilary Swank, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Travolta, Movies, Nicole Kidman, Television, Uma Thurman by Chris Evans on Sunday 5 March 2006 at 3:14 pm

The Academy Awards are tonight at 8 on ABC, hosted by Jon Stewart. Here are a few pictures from the rehearsal they had yesterday for the presenters. Keep coming back during tonight’s Oscars, I’ll be blogging live with updates on who’s winning what and what I think about what bitches are wearing. I’ll scourge the earth for the best pictures I can find of these nasty bitches–hopefully nobody pulls a Teri Hatcher. We’ll see if my predictions for this year’s 78th Annual Academy Awards turn out to be right.

Keith Urban Still Spoiling Nicole Kidman

Posted under Celebrities, Keith Urban, Music, Nicole Kidman, Television by Chris Evans on Tuesday 21 February 2006 at 2:04 am

Nicole and KeithThe Aussie Power Couple™ are rumored no more. After their coming out party at the Grammy’s Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are official. And yes, while their love is still young, Keith is still spoiling Nicole.

Sandra Clark of The Star reports that on a recent trip to Nashville “Keith went out of his way to find one of the best massage therapists in Nashville and surprised Nicole with a two-hour Swedish massage,” a source told the magazine.

After eight months, the country hunk is still giving special surprises to Nic every chance he gets just “to show her how much he adores her,” the source adds.

Tina Sims earlier reported that the TV show Extra cited sources close to Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman and an Australian morning show that is reporting that two people close to the country music star have slipped that the two will tie the knot in Nashville within the next two weeks.

That report hit on February 14. The clock is ticking.
