Michelle Pfeiffer is still lookin’ fierce at the ripe old age of 49. Damn, what is it with Ashton Kutcher and all these older sexy women?

T.R. Knight revealed he’ll be a bridesmaid when his BFF (or fag hag as I like to call her) Katherine Heigl gets married in December to singer Josh Kelley.

Lindsay Lohan seems to be filming some kind of commercial involving Superheroes. No one knows what the hell it is, but she looks damn hot if you ask me.

After reviving the fledgling Batman franchise, Christian Bale is now going to be starring in the Terminator. Since, you know, Arnold is just a tad busy.

Pete Wentz is yet again talking about how much he wishes he were gay. Well, sweetie you seem to make out with men any change you get so maybe a part of you is?

Katherine Heigl’s getting a lot of flack after calling her hit film Knocked Up sexist and the George/Izzie plotline on Grey’s Anatomy a “ratings ploy”. But girlfriend is 100% right. Keep it real!

Now that the writer’s strike has paralyzed network television, it seems CBS is going to fill the gap with episodes of Showtime’s Weeds and Dexter. But of course, the edited versions.

Jake Gyllenhaal has been tapped to play Hall of Famer Joe Namath in an upcoming Biopic. Hm, will this be Jake’s road to Oscar gold?

Fresh Links: Marcia & Her Hubby Go Shopping

Posted under Celebrities, Desperate Housewives, Gay, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, Jessica Simpson, Johnny Depp, Lindsay Lohan, Marcia Cross, Movies, Television by Chris Evans on Thursday 29 November 2007 at 12:44 pm

Due to the writers strike, the actresses of Desperate Housewives are currently out of work. Marcia Cross and her husband took the extra time and went shopping.

Johnny Depp is looking gorgeous and hobo chic as always in NYC at a dinner outing with friends. I can’t wait to see Sweeney Todd!

Hotness galore from Zachary Quinto on a recent episode of Heroes. I’ve heard people have seen him in the Village with his boyfriend. Come out, Zachary! It worked for Lance Bass.

Jessica Simpson might be finally ending the professional relationship between she and her father. He’s been her manager since she’s been in the business, and now she’s cuttin’ him loose.

Apparently Linda Hogan wants a divorce from wrestling star Hulk Hogan. This family is seriously so much drama. Brooke’s a tranny hot mess, Nick’s a drunken vehicular murderer, and now these two are going at it in court. Sheesh.

Are you as sick of hearing Meredith Grey’s voice as I am? Good news for you and me. Dr. Bailey is taking over temporarily as the narrarator of Grey’s Anatomy in an upcoming episode.

Seth Rogen has supposedly been slated to play the Green Hornet in the upcoming Justice League movie, so he’s been trying his best to bulk up. Don’t go all Mario Lopez, Seth! 0% body fat is NOT cute.

For whatever reason, Lindsay Lohan is coming out with yet ANOTHER shitty album. This time she might be teaming up with 50 Cent.

She needs to wear extensions more often. It takes attention away from her dehydrated face. She’ll be making the talk show rounds soon, along with Felicity Huffman and Jane Fonda, to promote their film Georgia Rule which comes out May 11.

Here’s the official poster.

Lindsay Lohan On Allure Magazine

Posted under Celebrities, Keira Knightley, Lindsay Lohan by Chris Evans on Tuesday 24 April 2007 at 3:55 pm

I like the picture. She looks a lot younger on it than she’s been looking lately, hopefully that means she’s slowed down on the binge drinking.

As much bad press as she’s been getting for dropping out of that movie with Keira Knightley, I’m kind of glad she did. I do not want to see those two having sex on screen. No matter how good the movie is.

I’ve been waiting for Georgia Rule to come out since the minute I heard of the cast, and it looks like that time is coming upon us. Lindsay Lohan, Felicity Huffman, and Jane Fonda play daughter, mother, and grandmother in this dark comedy about three women in the south.

It’ll be a gay old time. Here’s the trailer kiddies!

Fresh Links: Katherine Heigl In GQ Magazine

Posted under American Idol, Beyonce, Celebrities, Grey's Anatomy, Jennifer Garner, Katherine Heigl, Lindsay Lohan, Television by Chris Evans on Tuesday 13 March 2007 at 3:04 am

My favorite Grey’s Anatomy starlet Katherine Heigl is looking sexy and sultry as usual in this month’s GQ magazine.

Oscar nominee Terrence Howard, who’s starring in what is possibly the most homoerotic black film ever made, has recently said he disagrees with homosexuality but he doesn’t judge anyone for it because he has sinned himself.

Simon Cowell has apparently threatened to quit American Idol if Sanjaya Malakar wins this year. I say power to him. That kid is seriously one of the most God awful contestants this show has seen since Jim Verraros in season one.

Jennifer Garner looks stunning in the most recent issue of Marie Claire magazine. That woman’s lips had to have been one of God’s special projects.

Beyonce and Jay-Z were looking a damn mess in New York City yesterday. Girlfriend tried to pull of the Back to Basics red lipstick, and it works even less for her than it does for Christina. Child, please.

The Village and Lady In The Water star Bryce Dallas Howard is in talks to replace recent rehab releasee Lindsay Lohan in the movie version of the Tennessee Williams play The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond

An actress that I absolutely adore from her show Judging Amy and that movie Daylight, Amy Brenneman is apparently being cast in the new Grey’s Anatomy spin-off with Kate Walsh

Fresh Links: 50 Cent Calls Oprah An “Oreo”

Posted under Celebrities, Christina Aguilera, Kathy Griffin, Lindsay Lohan, Movies, Natalie Portman, Oprah, Oprah Winfrey, Television, Ugly Betty by Chris Evans on Monday 4 December 2006 at 8:16 pm

50 Cent perpetuates his pointless feud with Oprah. You know she can have you killed right?

Boston Legal and Ugly Betty get some new cast members. I love Christopher Gorham! Remember that show Popular?

Yes! Kathy Griffin’s reality show My Life On The D-List has been picked up for another season.

Lindsay Lohan is starring in a film adaptation of a Tennesse Williams play.

Toni Collette says “we’re living in an age of sheep”. Go ahead girl! She needs an Oscar. Now.

Damn…Scary Spice still looks good after all these years. Reunion please!

Christina Aguilera is pissed at Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson. Oh shit.

Lindsay Lohan: Please Get Help!

Posted under Celebrities, Lindsay Lohan by Chris Evans on Friday 1 December 2006 at 9:25 pm

Anyone that knows me knows how much I love Lindsay Lohan as an actress. Freaky Friday and Mean Girls are two of my favorite movies. I’ve yet to see A Prairie Home Companion but I did see Bobby which I really liked and she was fine in–as was the rest of the cast. But the point is, she’s a talented young actress who has the potential for greatness if she finds the right path.

I’m very scared for her however, because she seems like she’s losing it–and I blame a lot of it on her sad disgrace of a mother, who is now also pimping out her other daughter Allie Lohan. Dina Lohan, who uses her daughter Lindsay for money, attention, and fame, needs to have her Mommy Pass revoked immediately. Her daughter is an alcoholic, has self-image issues which was made obvious by her drastic weight loss, is dabbling in drugs, and is promiscuous.

It’s apparent based on reports made public by the media that there are domestic problems in the Lohan family–particularly with her white trash parents. The girl needs guidance, she needs role models, she needs structure. And it’s obvious she hasn’t gotten it.

I remember reading interviews with Meryl Streep and Jane Fonda, who have both worked with Lindsay in films (Meryl in Companion, Fonda in the upcoming Georgia Rule w/Felicity Huffman), and they were talking about how they so much wanted to just mother her. They wanted to take her under their wing and guide her. But of course, you can’t guide someone who doesn’t want to be guided, or doesn’t think they need it. And though emotionally a person may need something under the surface, the mind can tell you something different.

Seeing Lindsay hanging out with the likes of pointless irrelevant media whore Paris Hilton and talentless shit for brains Britney Spears saddens me because she could be so far above these dumb bitches it’s not even funny. Her rep has said she’s in AA, but honestly I don’t buy it. It seems like a desperate attempt at making it seem like she’s cleaning up her act after she’s been mercilessly bashed in the press, and it’ll only get worse before it gets better.

Sorry to get more in depth than I usually do with this stuff–it just upsets me to see talent go to waste.

Here’s some gorgeous pics of Lindsay at a Laker game yesterday:

Breath of Fresh Ink Recommends: Bobby

Posted under Ashton Kutcher, Elijah Wood, Lindsay Lohan, Movies by Chris Evans on Monday 20 November 2006 at 1:22 am

A friend and I just saw Bobby last night, and I was really excited because I’ve been waiting to see this movie ever since I heard about it. The cast alone is enough reason to see the movie, but after I saw Emilio Estevez and Lindsay Lohan on Oprah promoting it I really just couldn’t wait.

Right now it’s only available in New York and L.A., but it goes into wide release on the 23rd so go see it.

I’ll tell you now, the MVPs of the movie are:

Sharon Stone
- I was immediately drawn to her character and she made all of her scenes interesting even if the dialogue was a bit banal. Had great chemistry with everyone especially Lindsay in the beginning. Her scene where she talks to William H. Macy about you know what (don’t wanna spoil anything) was wonderfully done.

Shia LaBeouf - I really hated this kid on Even Stevens but inside I always knew he was really talented. I’ve seen him in other movies since then and it was obvious he had potential. I know a lot of people might disagree because they don’t wanna take him seriously, but I really thought he did a terrific job in this film–even outdoing some of these so-called veterans. Charismatic, funny, energetic, even emotional–just really great job from such a young, green actor.

Freddy Rodriguez - Loved him back on Six Feet Under but he REALLY, REALLY shines in this film. The part is well written (which I cannot say for some others *cough* Demi *cough*) and Freddy hits it right out of the park. I cared about his character more than I cared about ANY of the other people in this movie–and I’m not sure if it’s because of Freddy, Emilio’s writing, or both. If any acting nominations come out of this movie I hope one goes to him.

Honorable Mentions for me are Lindsay Lohan, Nick Cannon, and Martin Sheen. Lindsay played the role earnestly and very real. I think her and Elijah did a great job and had good chemistry–their story was one of my favorites. Nick’s reaction when Bobby was shot was enough to start the tears rolling–despite the fact that the girl who played his “girlfriend” was one of the worst actresses ever. Even though Martin and Helen’s storyline kind of annoyed me–I warmed up to it near the end–and Martin took his part and their story to the next level. I thank God Emilio didn’t try to make it a full family affair and cast Charlie in it though.

The worst part of the movie was probably Demi Moore and her horrid excuse for a character. Not only was I annoyed with her 2 dimensional portrayal of a drunken starlet, I felt like the character itself was completely pointless. It gave Estevez something to do, but it was just pointless. I have friends who could’ve pulled off a cheap performance like that back when we did theater in high school. Oh well, she tried.

I’ll have a full review of the movie tomorrow. :)

Click here for the write up we did about the movie a LONG time ago complete with a crapload of pictures from the film.
