Grey’s Anatomy Beats CSI In Ratings Race
I was really anticipating which of these shows would come out on top Thursday night, and honestly I was expecting CSI to win. Grey’s Anatomy premiered to 25 million viewers in its new 9 PM slot (which, obviously that number will slightly decrease going into next week) whereas CSI premiered to 22 million viewers–3 million less than its competitor.
Which means what? I predicted this a while ago when I asked if you’d be tuning in to see Grey’s Anatomy in it’s new slot–Desperate Housewives will be number one.
In other Grey’s news…not everyone got to see the season premiere Thursday night…some people in Canada were accidentally shown the season’s second episode instead of the premiere. Damn…that sucks.
As for what I thought of the episode? It was good. Not the best season premiere…not the best episode of Grey’s. But we’ll see if it gets better. They stole a lot of tricks from Desperate Housewives, and some of the plots were far-fetched. I’ll have a full review sometime tomorrow.
