American Idol Hall of Fame: Feedback Needed

Alert to all American Idol fans!
I’m putting together an American Idol Hall of Fame article, which fill feature 15 (maybe more) previous and possibly current Idol finalists that were incredible. I have some ideas for who I want in the feature, but would like to hear your ideas as well. I’m also going to do a section for the idols that are in the Hall of Fame for being the worst, so I’d like your ideas about that too.

E-mail me with your ideas. Tell me who you think should be in it, why–possibly including performances you think are worthy or comments the judges made about them.
I’ll publish the article here and on Blogcritics.org, as well as the dozens of sites this blog is syndicated to. In the article, if I use your idea(s), I’ll credit your name in it.

Have fun thinking about your favorite idols!
Regards,
Chris Evans

2 performances that need to be there are
1 A House Is Not A Home by Tamyra Gray
it was such a powerful performance that Simon said at the time was one of the best he ever saw on tv . in fact in his book after the first 2 seasons listed it as his favorite idol performance.
2 All By Myself by Latoya London
when Latoya performed this in season 3 during the early rounds of the top 32 she was unknown since she had not been shown during the auditions and hollywood rounds. however after this performance in which she got rave reviews from the judges and was voted into the top 12 becoming a frontrunner for the season overnight.
best overall!
Other performances to take in consideration:
1. Diana DeGarmo - Don’t Cry Out Loud
This was a showcase of just how capable Diana was of a brilliant performance. Her voice soared, and it was a definite ticket to competing in the finale.
2. Jasmine Trias - Inseparable
This performance on Soul week of American Idol 3 allowed America to see her full potential as she blew everyone else out of the water by singing a simple song, but delivering it brilliantly.
3. Clay Aiken - Bridge Over Troubled Water
This is without a doubt one of the most magical performances as everything led up to that final note that sent chills up everyone’s spine.
4. Fantasia - Summertime
Considering that the actual track was nominated for a Grammy, it shows just how great of a performance this was.
5. Carrie Underwood - Angels Brought Me Here
It was the most emotion we saw out of the country-star, and she went from being an American Idol contestant to an American star after this performance.
6. Kelly Clarkson - I Surrender
The star known as Kelly Clarkson emerged after this performance. She was sick, had laryngitis, but still gave an amazing Celine performance.
7. Kelly Clarkson - Without You (RESULTS)
This was by far the best vocal of Season 1.
8. Kelly Clarkson - A Moment Like This
It may not have been the absolute best from her, but that single performance was the standard to be met for seasons to come.
When bad AI performances come to mind I think of Josh Gracen’s “Celebrate” and John Stevens’s “Crocadile Rock”.
I loved “I Surrender” by both Kelly Clarkson and Anthony Fedorov, “Stuff Like That There” by Kelly, and “Alone” by Carrie Underwood.
The real best performances ever:
Kelly Clarkson - Natural Woman
Tamyra Gray - House is not a home
Trenyce -Her Top 5 Performances that got her booted off (Love will keep us together and Proud Mary)
Clay Aiken - Build Me Up Buttercup just for letting loose!
Fantasia - Always On My Mind
La Toya - Somewhere
Jennifer Hudson - Weekend in New England
Carrie Underwood - Alone
Nadia Turner - Try a little tenderness
Jessica Sierra - Total Eclipse of the Heart/Broken Wing
Clay Aiken - Solitaire
Carrie Underwood - Alone
Jasmine Trias - Inseperable
Diana DeGarmo - No More Tears
Kelly Clarkson - Stuff like that There
LaToya London - All by Myself
Ryan Starr - Last Dance
those are my suggestions
i’m not an american idol fan but Kelly Clarkson, Tamyra Gray, Jasmine Trias, Fantasia Barrino and Bo Bice should be there.
