I’m sure you’ve heard (or at least you have now) about the new George Clooney/Cate Blanchett movie The Good German, directed by Stephen Soderbergh.

It looks like it’s going to be an interesting movie to say the least, and it’s Cate Blanchett so you can’t go wrong.

Anyway, it’s based on a novel by Joseph Kanon, and the first person to answer the Giveaway Question will win the novel–all shiny and brand new!

This Britney/Paris/Lindsay saga is getting so ridiculous I don’t even know what to say about it anymore. Britney’s a dumbass for associating herself with someone as media hungry and floptastic as Paris Hilton, especially when Miss Trailer Trash Piggy is trying to stage a so-called “comeback”.

Anyways, it was announced earlier today that Paris and Britney would be co-hosting the upcoming Billboard Music Awards, but it turns out Britney has backed out at the last minute before negotiations for unknown reasons.

Us Weekly has the scoop:

After nearly a week of clubbing, partying and shopping in LA with new BFF, Paris Hilton, Us has learned exclusively that Britney Spears has abruptly pulled out of co-hosting with the heiress on the Fox Billboard Music Awards, scheduled to air live on December 4.

“She pulled out,” confirms a source with Fox. “She didn’t give a reason.”

The source tells Us that Hilton is still a possible host despite losing Spears as a sidekick. Other sources confirm that as recent as this morning, agents for both Hilton and Spears were hashing out the final terms of the contract, but at 5pm today, Spears had backed out of negotiations.

“We really don’t know the reason. But we’re disappointed she backed out.” says a Fox source.

The source says the show may go on with Hilton as solo host, or it may feature comedian (and Fox sitcom star) Brad Garrett, given he’s at the top of the show producer’s wish list.

At press time, neither Hilton or Spears’ reps were available for comment.

Angels In America and Phantom of the Opera hottie Patrick Wilson is getting Oscar buzz along with his co-star Kate Winslet for his performance in Little Children.

And today he’s getting buzz for something else too…that ass!

I’m crazily following the Hits Daily Double building album sales chart, and it looks like Chris Daughtry’s debut album may take number one. Mind you, he’s beating out Jay Z, RBD, The Beatles, U2, Now That’s What I Call Music, Il Divo, and Snoop Dogg.

The sales chart is only 22% in right now, but currently his sales are tallied at about 83,000. HDD predicts that he might sell upwards of 300,000 copies, which is about where Kelly Clarkson’s debut album was in its debut week.

And of course, he’s doing all this without a hit single. So imagine what his album can do if his debut single can make it into the top 10.

What was girlfriend thinking? Why did someone hand her “Courtney Love For Dummies” right before the photoshoot? Katharine, girl..you know I love you. But you need to get it together. You look a damn mess.

I personally have never gotten the obsession with Eric Mabius. He’s cute, and I remember him as that gay football player in Cruel Intentions that Ryan Philippe blackmailed, but for me he’s just okay.

It seems however…that a lot of people disagree with me. So I really wanna know..how hot do you guys think Eric Mabius is?

I suppose he’s the hottest guy on Ugly Betty–not that we have much to choose from. But I think his crown may be taken away by the guy who plays Justin’s dad–as rugged as the man is.

His name is Kevin Alejandro.

One of the most beautiful men in Hollywood, James Franco, just had a movie come out to DVD called Flyboys. The movie’s reviews weren’t so stellar, it got a 30% on Rotten Tomatoes, but at least James looks as gorgeous as he always does.
