Watch Out: Dixie Chicks Documentary “Shut Up And Sing”

Posted under Celebrities, Dixie Chicks, Movies, Music, Politics by Chris Evans on Friday 6 October 2006 at 7:39 pm

The Dixie Chicks have a new documentary coming out soon about the aftermath of lead singer Natalie Maines‘ statements about Bush during a concert in London.

The reviews have been stellar and the trailer is great. I can’t wait to see the movie. It’s amazing how 12 words could make someone want to shoot you dead. -shakes head-..America.

Watch the trailer.

It hits limited theaters on October 27th.

I wish the dixie chicklets WOULD shut up and sing. At least half of America disagrees with them. Now they look like sluts on that cover.

Not ready to make nice or whatever their song is? Shows immaturity. President Bush continues to say nothing bad about those horrible women. He acts with class. They act like two-year-olds who can’t let go of an argument, an issue, a toy. The rest of us have to deal with the real world and don’t have the luxury of an album and stage time to spout off as they do.

Natalie Maines failed freshman music theory, which any idiot should be able to pass, so I’m not about to listen to her “geo-political expertise.” She has nothing to base her trash talk on other than apparently a low class upbringing.

You don’t trash your president or your country abroad in times of war. Really shouldn’t any other time, either. If you don’t like something, go vote. Don’t be an idiot.

Glad to hear their tour sales have plummeted.
