Elliott Yamin Pulls Out Of Idol Tour?
American Idol 3rd place finalist Elliott Yamin, whose duet with Mary J. Blige stole the show at wednedsay’s finale, has been rumored to have pulled out of the 2006 summer American Idols Live Tour. The top 12 appeared on Entertainment Tonight on Friday night, but Elliott was nowhere to be seen–nor was he mentioned.
Speculation is that it has something to do with his health, his mother’s health–or neither. Some speculate music distributing company Universal Urban has bought out the remainder of Elliott’s contract–relieving him of his obligation to go onto the 3 month summer tour.
Please tell me it’s not true! I’ll have to sell my concert tickets if it’s true! I don’t care to go if he won’t be there! Somebody please tell me the rumor is unfounded!
Don’t worry, T. I recently found out the rumor isn’t true–he wasn’t at the Entertainment Tonight appearance because he was meeting with someone about a record deal. He WILL be on the tour!
WTF!!!! YAMIN NO!!!! ILL SAY THIS ONCE AND ONLY ONCE, ELLIOTT IS THE STAR OF THE WHOLE SEASON AND DESERVED THAT TITLE SINCE HE BELTED OUT HIS FIRST NOTE ON THE SHOW AND I DONT CARE WHO SHOWS UP 2 THAT CONCERT IF YAMIN ISNT THERE!!! ELLIOTT IS THE MAN!!!
