Actress Meryl Streep has lashed out at media reports her A Prairie Home Companion co-star Lindsay Lohan’s hard-partying ways interfere with her acting.

Despite the stories about her in tabloids, Streep was convinced Lohan would be perfect to play her daughter in the film, even before meeting her. She explains, “I think I’d seen Freaky Friday maybe seven times.

“I have three daughters, and it’s the Lindsay Lohan fan club at my house. “I’m aware of the tabloid stuff because my kids tell me - but I don’t read it, and frankly, I couldn’t care less. “Lindsay knew her lines better than we did. ”

When they say ‘Action’, Lindsay is completely, visibly living in front of the camera, and that’s all anybody really cares about.”
