Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie To Star In Wuthering Heights
Jolie and Depp have reportedly signed up to appear in the new film based on Emily Bronte’s classic novel.
The couple will be spending six months at a remote location somewhere in Yorkshire according to the Daily Star and will have to master the Yorkshire accent for their roles.
I adore Johnny Depp and don’t want him in a movie with Angelina…and in a remote location for 6 months? Geesh. I sure hope Vanessa and the kids go with him there, and keep an eye on the homewrecker, or she could be in Anniston’s shoes.

Johnny as Heathcliffe is perfect, But Anjelina as Cathy? Sorry but that is sooooo wrong. I am afraid she is too brash and too American [sorry I have nothing against Americans ] but I do think there are certain roles designed for Brits and this is one. Yes I know Depp is American but he acts like a Brit and his looks and brooding prescence make him perfect for the role. Only Daniel Day Lewis could equal the job. As for Cathy , Helena Bonham Carter would have been perfect or Rachel Weis. Just my opinion anyway and it probably counts for very little . As long as they stick to the dialogue and dont mess around with the plot too much Depp will save the day as always.
I think Johnny Depp would be so perfect to be in the role of Heathcliffe.

Johnny Depp was born for the role of Heathcliff. He is a difficult character to get to grips with and very few have pulled it off but Johnny will walk it.Angelina on the other hand-bad move! Cant wait to see Depp thundering through the heather cursing “damn you all” He will need to watch out for the famous Cathy line “I wish I could hold you till we were both dead” - Angelina might just take that literally if she does’nt get her man on the set. Watch out Johnny!

As a huge Bronte fan I have always been disappointed with previous adaptations of Wuthering Heights so I desperately want this attempt to live up to expectations. Thankfully the producers have had the sense to choose the only guy capable of pulling off the Heathcliff role. Johnny Depp is amazing and was born for the role. Not too sure about Angelina though. PLEASE stick to original dialogue and storyline , loads of atmosphere, correct locations etc and this has success written all over it. Can’t wait. Luv u Johnny! (no offence Vanessa.)
